What happened at the faucet

Sometimes, what happened is also what didn’t happen. Like the flight that got rebooked which later crashed, or, closer to home, this close encounter with a copperhead at a faucet in my front yard, which illustrates the importance of using your cellphone flashlight when shutting off the sprinkler in the dark.
